Leicester City manager Brendan Rodger has revealed that striker Jamie Vardy is training with his team-mates for the Premier League this weekend.
The 34-year-old was injure in last week’s 2-1 win over Brentford. Jamie Vardy is substitute at half-time. And he is not named in the team’s win over Brighton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Rodgers has revealed that Vardy has returned to training and will return to the starting XI when the team host Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
“Jamie is fine,” Rodger said. “He trained this morning (Wednesday) and joined the group, everyone is ready.”
Vardy has seven goals and one assist in nine Premier League games this season.
